Arrival at Jaipur. Check-In at Hotel & after freshen-up, we proceed for Half day Sightseeing trip. Today we visit City Palace & Museum, Jantar Mantar (Observatory) and take a photo stop at Hawa Mahal. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
2 Days (3 Nov (Sun) : Jaipur - Ajmer - Pushkar - Jaipur)
After Morning Breakfast proceed to Ajmer & Pushkar Day trip. Ajmer is venerated as a holy place for both Hindus and Muslims. It has the mausoleum of the Sufi saint, Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, whose blessings are eagerly sought by pilgrims to his dargah. Known as the ‘Dargah Sharif', the last resting place of the saint who died in 1235 lies at the foot of a barren hill. The saint's marble domed mausoleum is India's most important shrine for Muslims and receives an endless flow of visitors of all religions as the sick, the troubled and the childless come here seeking a boon, a blessing or just peace of mind. Legend has it that the Mughal emperor, Akbar came here to the saint in the 16 th century in quest of a boon for an heir and the saint obliged. The Urs or annual pilgrimage of the devout is celebrated each May at the Dargah with millions of pilgrims arriving in Ajmer to pay homage. Lengthy queues of several kilometres snake their way past the tomb at the shrine while outside the Dargah precincts, two massive cauldrons cook sweet rice garnished with dry fruits and condiments to be served as ‘tabarukh' or sanctified food. Within the dargah lies a mosque, built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Like all of Shah Jahan's buildings, the mosque too, is an architectural marvel - a magnificent building in white marble with a long and narrow courtyard for the faithful to pray in, richly embellished with ornate calligraphic inscriptions, delicate carvings and detailed trelliswork. latter on visit to pushkar Pushkar is a town bordering the Thar Desert, in the northeastern Indian state of Rajasthan. It's set on Pushkar Lake, a sacred Hindu site with 52 ghats (stone staircases) where pilgrims bathe. The town has hundreds of temples, including 14th-century Jagatpita Brahma Mandir, dedicated to the god of creation, which has a distinctive red spire and walls inlaid with pilgrims’ silver coins. 3 Days (4 Nov (Mon) : JAIPUR TO JODHPUR (6HRS.))
Check out from Hotel and proceed for Jodhpur, the home of Rathores the city boasts of a rich heritage and culture and has a flourishing handicrafts industry. On arrival transfer to the hotel and afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Jodhpur visiting Mehrangarh Fort - which houses some of the most intricately adorned palaces and latticed windows, Jaswant Thada - it is the memorial of Maharaja Jaswant Singh & Umaid Bhavan Palace- the unique feature of this palace is the fact that hand chiseled sandstone blocks have been put together in a special system of interlocking there is no mortar binding. There are excellent museum housing models of airplanes, weapons, antique clocks etc. Overnight stay at the hotel.
4 Days (5 Nov (Tue) : Jodhpur Local Sightseeing)
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a sightseeing tour of the erstwhile Marwar capital. From the imposing Meherangarh Fort to the delicately wrought jharokhas of the havelis, the citadel has some of the finest examples of Rajput masony.At the foot of the fort lies the Jaswant Thada, a richly carved white marble cenotaph. later Visit Umaid Bhawan Palace, located at Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India, is one of the world's largest private residences. A part of the palace is managed by Taj Hotels. Named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, grandfather of the present owner Gaj Singh of the palace, this edifice has 347 rooms and serves as the principal residence of the erstwhile Jodhpur royal family. A part of the palace also houses a museum. Umaid Bhawan Palace was called Chittar Palace during its construction due to use of stones drawn from the Chittar hill where it is located. Ground for the foundations of the building was broken on 18 November 1929 by Maharaja Umaid Singh and the construction work was completed in 1943. The Palace was built to provide employment to thousands of people during the time of famine. Take an afternoon jeep safari ( AT OWN COST ) to the picturesque Bishnoi village to experience rustic Rajasthan life. The drive through the countryside abounds with black bucks and chinkaras grazing serenely, and migratory birds dot the skies. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel
5 Days (6 Nov (Wed) : Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur)
Breakfast at hotel. Later drive to Udaipur (260 kms.). Enroute visit famous Jain temples of Ranakpur. (Jain temples of Ranakpur built in white marble. Its 29 halls spread over 40,000 sq.ft. And consisting of 1,444 pillars, not one of which is alike in its carving.) After visit continue to drive to Udaipur. Check in at the hotel on arrival. Overnight stay in the hotel.
6 Days (7 Nov (Thu) : Udaipur Local Sight Seeing)
After breakfast, we will visit City Palace complex and the shores of the Lake Pichola. The City Palace was built as the capital of the Sisodia Rajput family by Maharana Udai Mirza Singh in 1559 after Situated on the east bank of the Pichola Lake, it has many palaces inside its complex. Believed to be the largest of its kind in Rajasthan, the splendid building represents a perfect combination of the Mughal and Rajasthani architectural styles. Later, we will visit the mysterious palaces and beautiful gardens. Continue our drive we will head towards the Saheliyon ki Badi, the Garden of the Maids of Honour for the Royal Ladies of Mewar. The rest of the afternoon is free for leisure or you can enjoy a boat ride on the striking Lake Pichola, sailing past the stunning City Palace, Jag Mandir Island, and the famous Jag Niwas Island. In the evening, we will transfer you to the hotel for an overnight stay.
7 Days (8 Nov (Fri) : Udaipur Hotel to Udaipur Railway Station / Airport Drop)
After breakfast we checkout from hotel and railway station And Airport to board the Train back to home.
